Every few years, we host a Fashion and Fun event. The event is usually held on a Sunday afternoon in mid-late Summer. The theme is picked, ads are sold for the booklet, fashions are chosen and volunteers are recruited. Vintage clothing and accessories from our well-stocked KCHS fashion closet, as well as shared by community members, are displayed and modeled. It’s a fun afternoon of learning about trends and style, plus having tea, sweets, and conversation. This year’s them is fashion trends of the 20th century…

Images of the 2019 Bridal Gown Show

In 2019, the theme was weddings. We had wedding dresses modeled from the 1860s to the 1990s. A local collector contributed cake toppers that we used as centerpieces.
